Connie moved to Berlin 3 years ago, and has been roaming (or cycling) its streets ever since, in search of great gigs, delicious spicy food, and interesting neighborhood quirks. Prior to LOLA, she wrote for and edited a variety of publications in the US, including XLR8R, Flavorpill, Bitch Magazine, and ALARM. Her favorite Sunday activity is a visit to the Dong Xuan Center, followed by a weissweinschorle at the karaoke bearpit in Mauerpark. The only thing missing is the New York Times Sunday Magazine crossword puzzle but hey – a girl can’t always have everything.
