Take a break from the hustle of the city for a weekend and enjoy one of the most beautiful times of the year in Berlin – spring! The cherry blossom in the city is one of the defining signs that winter is finally, finally, officially, really this time, actually over – cause for celebration, we say.
Gärten der Welt is host to a two-day cherry blossom festival this year, promising interesting insights into Japanese, Korean and Chinese culture, an amazing array of food and drinks, and a number of cosplaying guests who will be strolling the grounds inviting visitors to take photographs of their costuming efforts. Come to enjoy the sunshine and blossom but stay for the costume competition, where one lucky cosplayer will receive a special award!
