Alex Rennie
Senior Writer
Hailing from the suburban streets of South London, Alex made the switch to Berlin in 2013 to prolong an ailing career in academia. Unsurprisingly, that didn’t last long. After realising the German capital is akin to some vast metaphorical onion, he then set about zealously peeling back its many wonderful layers, cutting his teeth as a writer in the process. Through his journalistic endeavours, Alex has come close to the very essence of what makes Berlin tick: its people. When not behind the keyboard, you’ll find him lurking in one of the city’s many fine hostelries sipping an ice-cold Schultheiss.
