LOLA is a cultural platform and members club that curates the best events, activities and perks in Berlin. We support cultural producers with high-quality editorial and social promotion, and in return LOLA members receive preferential rates for these productions. We are in the process of beta testing this new LOLA culture club, and it will be available to the public in the Autumn.
We are growing our team, starting with a Social Media Manager. This is a key role and the selected candidate will be in charge of representing LOLA across all social channels as the voice of the brand. They will enhance LOLA’s online presence in all aspects of social media and social engagements as needed while managing existing social media marketing platforms. The targets of the social media manager will include increasing the LOLA audience and the level of engagement, as well as managing the needs of our cultural partners and LOLA members.
Responsibilities:
- Using social media marketing tools to boost the LOLA brand
- Working with the core LOLA team to develop social media marketing campaigns
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Creating content and commissioning other content creators
- Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
- Analysing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
- Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Requirements:
- BS in Communications, Marketing/Advertising Preferred
- Successful track record of managing and growing social media accounts
- Advanced social strategy abilities
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Digital ads, Web, E-commerce
- Familiarity with web design
- Ability to optimise content strategically to drive results
- Establishing brand awareness
- Strong and consistent communication skills
- Knowledge of social media management tools
- Understanding of analytics and reporting
- Community building and relationship building
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
- A strong knowledge of the Berlin cultural sector (music, art, film, performance)
