It feels like ages since Sohn’s debut album was released, but maybe that’s just because we’ve all had it on repeat for so long. Early fans of his new release, Rennen, we can’t wait to see it performed live.
The new music has the same soul as the debut album, but with a slightly stripped-back feel to it as the melodies and vocals are highlighted with the deliberate use of fewer layers on each of the tracks. Fans of Sampha, SBTRKT, and Deptford Goth will not be disappointed by the unique atmosphere of a Sohn concert, where you’ll be taken from goosebump-inducing vocals to heavy, dancey beats that’ll have the dancefloor really moving.
