Berlin is probably one of the cities with more artistic events per capita in the world. However, it’s not always easy to actually feel part of what you’re seeing or engaging with the creative people around it. The Palace is an artists’ collective born with the aim of changing that dynamic.

After a successful annual residence in Poland, they are bringing a taste of The Palace to different European cities, landing in Berlin this Wednesday. Since February is a month strongly linked to the ideas of excess, feasting and dressing up, they are putting together an immersive experience that will explore the theme of Fasching through a group exhibition, performance art and a three-course dinner. As they say, “participation, communication and engagement are the goal of our get togethers, creating atmospheres where the exchange of ideas is encouraged and actual networking can take place.” Perhaps it’s time you finally engage with those other people you always see at the gallery opening but never dare to talk to – and no better way to do so than enjoying a meal like you’ve never seen before.
