Venue: Neue Schüle für Fotografie
Time: 19:00
The Neue Schüle für Fotografie has a well-deserved reputation for being a hotbed of photographic talent, and the institution prepares its students for life as professional photographers in a wide range of styles and disciplines.
In this group exhibition, students of Eva Maria Ocherbauer, Eva Bertram and Marc Volk will be presenting their work under the title Hinter der Sonne.
There are five students taking part: Ekaterina Bodyagina, Michi Reinhardt, Sebastian Eichelberger, David Zohar and Franziska Feis. The exhibition is the culmination of two years work and includes Bodyagina’s intimate study of devoted couples living in countries where their relationships are considered taboo, Reinhardt’s poignant capturing of athletes after life-changing injuries, and Zohar’s black and white photographs of Germany’s old Jewish cemeteries.
The exhibition opens on Friday, December 13th and will involve a nice launch party with DJs and drinks.
In a sentence: new photography talent unveiled.
