Do something different this Friday and check out a pair of comedy talents from the green isle. Presented by The Fish Bowl Comedy showcase, this is a quality bit of international comedy in English.

Danny O’ Brien is an award-winning comedian and host of The Comedy Church in Dublin – Ireland’s most successful comedy club – and he has just returned to Europe from touring comedy festivals in Australia, so this might be a rare opportunity to see an Irishman with a tan. He was hand-picked to perform as part of this year’s ‘Best of The Edinburgh Fest’ Show, an honour that has previously been given to the likes of Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran and Dara Ó Briain.

Ger Staunton arrived on the Irish comedy scene just three years ago but he is already a regular headliner on the circuit. “One of the best comedy writers in Ireland” is a phrase that often follows mention of his name, and his endearing yet deadpan manner wins over audiences of all ages.

Prepare yourself for some face ache – advance tickets are 10€.
