Down by the River Festival #10

A day of wicked music at a spree-side setting

Time: 14:00

10 years have passed since the first Down by the River festival took place at ://aboutblank, a formerly illegal, multi-room club right on the Spree. The birthday will be celebrated this Saturday with an extraordinary line-up: highlights include Fenster’s John Moods who just created his own legacy with his partly phone recorded debut The Essential John Moods, as well as Deutschrap-Punk Joey Bargeld, Berlin-based indie pop band Glassberg & The Disasters and self-described “desert blues” singer Ahmed Ag from Mali. With a diverse international line-up, African fast food and danceable DJ sets, this is the most adult 10th birthday you’ve ever been to.
