Let’s Talk About Sex and Drugs: Buttons and BBQ Edition
An open forum in a friendly setting
Venue: :// about blank
Time: 18:00 – 22:00
“Sex education at my school happened on one morning when I was 15, only I was at the dentist that day so I missed it. After that it was basically Sex and The City and repeats of Queer as Folk.” – One LOLA editor does not believe his experiences of woeful sex ed are unique. Thankfully, Pansy and Praxis Cordes are here to talk.
A successful event from London’s renowned Dean Street clinic, Let’s Talk About Sex and Drugs is a friendly and relaxed evening that is neither lesson nor lecture, and it provides an open discussion on pressing topics like sex, drugs, partying, chemsex, HIV, PrEP, and more.
Subjects that may be uncomfortable, embarrassing or taboo can be brought up over drinks in an honest and sociable way, opening crucial discussions about sexual health that benefit the wider community. Chairing the discussion will be a panel of writers, medical experts, drag queens, performance artists, activists and advocates.
This edition takes place in the ://about blank garden at the legendary Buttons party.
